We're moving!!!!

We've recently purchased a new-to-us house with level pasture field equipped with shelter for horses and a pond! The house is a work in progress, so every extra dime will be spent doing renovations, repairs and fencing. During this time, no intake will be done. However, once we're back to normal we will have the space to help even more pets in desperate need of care.

Who We Are

We are a small group of animal lovers in Southern Ohio. Unfortunately, we can't afford to pay to file for non-profit 501(c)3 status at this time and receive no government grants or charity donations (we pay for the animal care out of our paychecks). We rescue dogs from local dog pounds who are on death row through no fault of their own and we will also pick up stray pets running along the busy roads and search for their owners (usually, no owner is ever found). We have these pets fully vetted and spayed/neutered. We bring them into our homes where they live and learn to be a part of a real family until they are adopted into their forever homes.

Adopting a friend

We require a home visit before any adoption is approved. We do this to ensure the pet is going to a safe and adequate home. We will not adopt a pet into a home that will chain it up outside and forget about it or allow the pet to run loose. All pets will also be spayed/neutered and current on all vaccines prior to being adopted.
